Course Overview

Nestled in a region of the country dominated by power and policy, Montgomery Country Club offers an attractive alternative and economically priced private club. Situated a convenient 15 minutes northwest of the Interstate 495, this 1963 Edmund Ault design features a 6,700 yard, Par 72 layout with large undulating bentgrass greens and several long dog-legs.

Characterized by slightly rolling hills indicative of the area, the course has water hazards that come into play seven times. The annual host for the Kemper Open qualifier since 1986 and a U.S. Open qualifying site in 1994, Montgomery Country Club is widely recognized for its superb layout and conditioning. The installation of a new irrigation system, bunker renovations, and improved drainage over the past three seasons has enhanced the natural aesthetics and playability of this gem, making it the place to play in the metropolitan area.
